And we saw this turtle while we were just driving along. Dad stopped the car and we all jumped out to take a closer look, but it ran way 'cause Abe tried to poke it with his stick. Typical.

After the storm we found loads of dead, decomposing fish on the beach.

After a brilliant day snorkeling on Gasparilla Island Dad realised he'd left the car keys in his pocket when he went in the sea. Unfortunately his phone and the house keys were locked inside the car. We had to get this guy to open the car and tow us back, all before the car park got locked at sunset. We made it but only just. I couldn't believe we got to ride in the truck.

I hope the marks on my face don't stay there.

Dad got me a mask and snorkel for christmas, so i can breath under water. I've been practising loads in the pool and we've used it in the sea.

Christmas Dinner Florida Style

Happy Christmas too.

Happy Chanukah. (Look, Abe can do thumbs up now)

We spent Christmas Eve on the beach. And me and Dad went swimming in the sea. We saw an eagle swoop down and grab a fish out the water with its claws. It was amazing.

After 1262.7 miles we arrived. It's really hot and sunny here.

On the way we had our first ever Mcdonalds, just off the Dixie Highway in Kentucky. It was a cool restaurant. I had chicken nuggets that came in a box with a toy from Alvin and the Chipmunks. I really liked it and there was a huge climbing frame in the car park. Dad thought, as we were in Kentucky we should have gone to see Colonel Sanders 'cause he lives there, but Mum was not keen.

We drove a really long way. It took us 2 whole days and we drove through 6 States. Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. Dad shouted a bit, it's hard being in the car for so long. But it was quite interesting. I liked driving through the Smokey Mountains best. And the Tennessee river was massive.

It was cold and wet when we left Chicago.

On Thursday when Dad finished working, we loaded up the car and started our drive to Rotonda West in Florida.

Even though It's been cold we went back to Mount Baldy again. I really like it there.

I've been to a few birthday parties. They're quite good here, I really like getting my face painted. And the 'pinata', which is where you smash a donkey or a Lightning McQueen with a stick and loads of 'candy' falls out. I don't remember having those in London.

I also did this picture of Grandma Jackie. It came out quite scary, but she's not scary.

I drew this picture of George Washington when I went to the Art Institute. I was upset they wouldn't let me put it on the wall. So I've put it on the blog.

We all think the weather in Chicago has got quite cold. But our Chicago friends say that it's been a very mild start to the winter. Even though some days have been -5.

But Gandma Jackie came to see us, it was really nice to hang out with her for 2 whole weeks.

We haven't done the blog for ages 'cause Dad has been really busy at work. We didn't really see him for 3 weeks. All he's been doing is working and sleeping. (And shouting)

On the way back we had to stop at a level crossing. A train full of coal came passed, it went on for ages. It was so long it took more than 15 minutes to pass. When it started we couldn't see the end of it.

We had to stop to get petrol. They call it gas here. There was a cool picture of a Porsche on the petrol pump.

We found a massive Dune called Mt Baldy. We climbed all the way to the top. The top of a mountain is called a summit. I was a bit disapointed that it was too easy to get to the top. But Mum and Dad wouldn't let me go 'off road', I had to stay on the path.

The Dunes were brilliant. Me and Abe had a lot of fun.

Dad liked this big water park that was for sale, but we didn't buy it.

We went to the Indiana Dunes in the car. Indiana is another State. We went on a massive freeway and drove passed loads of factories and chimneys. I really liked this big metal bridge.
